  A Coalwood Christmas and Red Helmet - 2007-11-26 08:43:40
Linda and I are rushing around to get ready for a trip to St. John, USVI, but thought I'd send a reminder out there that The Coalwood Way is a Christmas story. I wanted to title it "A Coalwood Christmas" but let myself get talked out of it by the publisher. I've regretted it ever since. I think it would be a Christmas annual otherwise. So don't you be fooled. If you're looking for a story that will get you ready for Christmas, trust me, you can't go wrong with The Coalwood Way.

Marketing for Red Helmet, my big romantic novel set in today's Appalachian coalfields, is perking right along, too. I think you're going to like this one. Early reviews are fantastic with some reviewers saying this one will be as big as Rocket Boys/October Sky. Might make a great Christmas gift even though it's not out until February (just in time for Valentine's Day). You can pre-order at Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com or from your local book store. Just present the pre-order certificate to your favorite reader!

My best to you and your family this wonderful Holiday Season!
