Coalwood, WV - The Rocket Boys - Dorothy Plunk
  Dorothy Plunk, Homer's love interest throughout high school (until she started dating Jim) was actually a pseudonym for another girl Homer pursued. In his book, Rocket Boys, Homer says that after high school he had not seen "Dorothy" for 25 years. They reunited at their high school reunion in 1985. She now is married and has two daughters. She prefers not to be publicly identified, so her photograph is not shown.
