to the heavy volume of mail Homer receives, he cannot promise to answer
every letter although he appreciates them all. He has only one request:
Please don't ask him how to build a rocket. Everything he had to say
about building rockets is in Rocket Boys/October Sky, The Coalwood Way,
and Back to the Moon. You will also stand a much better chance of
receiving a reply if you correctly spell his name (Hickam).
Note to AOL users: There is a very good chance that if you write us using

is very restrictive and often refuses to forward our replies.
